With only one event left in the regular tournament season, May 10th in Grand Rapids, we have already qualified 55 bowlers for the Daniel C. Ottman Memorial Championships to be held June 13, 14 & 15th at the Monroe Sports Center in Monroe, MI. There are potentially another 64 bowlers would could make the championship field coming out of the Grand Rapids tournament.

Of those 64 who could qualify 33 of them only need to show up and bowl the tournament while another 31 need to bowl and make the cut to the match play field. With the entry limit at 120 bowlers and 98 already having their entires in there are a number of bowlers still not in the field that need to earn their spot for Monroe.

The Championship is not only the crown jewel of our season but it will pay out this year in scholarship money in the area of $25,000.00 to the bowlers who can make it to the match play field and to those who have earned year end awards.

If you know of anyone who has not yet sent in their entry form for the Grand Rapids event, let them know it is now a first-come, first-serve field and the next 22 entries will close out the field.
